Ultralätt och ultrastyvt skal i ren kolfiber, samma material som används till bland annat Formel 1-bilar. Hjälmens kärna är av EPS, med förstärkningar av EPP. Hjälmen är också utrustad med MIPS-system, som skyddar hjärnan genom att absorbera och reducera rotationspåverkan vid en kollision. Om olyckan ändå är framme hjälper Emergency Quick Release System till att enkelt ta av hjälmen. Volt är byggd med ett ultralätt och ultrastyvt skal i ren kolfiber. Kärnan består av ett EPS-lager med förstärkningar av EPP.
Det yttre skalet i ren kolfiber gör att Volt har överlägsna prestanda vid kollisioner än liknande hjälmar utan kolfiber. EPS-kärnan skyddar mot stötar och slag vid en krasch, och EPP-inläggen vid hjälmens fram- och baksida ger ytterligare skydd. MIPS-systemet som sitter närmst huvudet innebär att hjärnan får ett otroligt viktigt rotationsskydd vid en krasch. MIPS absorberar och reducerar skadan genom att ge en följsamhet på 10-15 mm för huvudet. Om olyckan ändå är framme hjälper Emergency Quick Release System till att enkelt ta av hjälmen, via enkelt avtagbara öronpads. Volt är FIS-godkänd.
Volt finns i storlekarna S (50-53 cm), S/M (54-56 cm) och M (56-58 cm). Volt väger mellan 545-670 gram.

Bliz Volt has been equipped with a high quality EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) core to provide good protection.
The Bliz Volt helmet enhances the safety of its EPS core with focused EPP front and back inserts. EPP (Expanded Polypropylene), has great shock-absorbing properties and is a common and proven material in high-end helmets. The Carbon, EPS and EPP in combination gives you the ultimate pro- tection.
Airflow Ventilation System was developed using low and high speed fluid dynamics studies to de- liver the ideal airflow rates both within and around the helmet at every speed. The result is a helmet with air channels that delivers pleasant and effective ventilation that further enhances safety.
The Emergency Quick Release SystemTM provides a reliable, fast and easy way to detach the ear pads from the helmet, and thereby reduce pressure on the skier’s head and neck if an accident should occur.
Quick and easy attach/detach system for easy strap handling.
Make sure the strap stays in place with the rubber strap holder. In addition you also minimize the injury risk by avoiding bulging parts on the helmet.
MIPS is created to reduce and absorb rotational impacts, in case of an accident.
